Publications: A white paper containing a review of the social, economic and environmental aspects acting in mixed vs single species stands as well as a confrontation with the perceptions of the different stakeholders on these issues was presented as a special issue of BosRevue in Dutch and as a special issue of Forêt Wallonne in French.

Experimental sites: The most important output of the FORBIO project are the three experimental sites (Zedelgem, Gedinne and Hechtel-Eksel) (Experiments). Due to the slow development of forest ecosystems, no research results of the experimental sites are available yet.
On the longer run, this experiment will potentially yield very valuable outputs. A list of research projects that have
